The Worst Sports Cliche

I chose a cliche from the Draft Day category, the cliche I decided on was “Players like that don't come around very often.” I decided on this cliche because they say it yearly, effectively contradicting this statement.

In every draft in every sport we hear this cliche, often times I believe I’ve heard it multiple times in the same drafts. The cherry on top of all of it is most of these players don’t pan out nearly to the generational talent expectations set by this cliche.
