Sports Journalism Etiquette

I think the most important aspect of sports journalism etiquette is keeping your professionalism, while the hardest aspect to follow is probably restraining yourself from cheering. Keeping professionalism is the most important as you are representing more than just themselves, they are representing their companies as well as sports journalists as a whole. It is important to keep professionalism in order to keep your press pass. It would be hardest for me to resist cheering for the team I’m rooting for, but being professional and doing my job has to come first.
