Only Service Dogs Allowed In Public Places, Is It Good Or Bad?

Allowing only dogs as service animals in public places is a good law. Some people might disagree, but there are many reasons that show this law is good for everyone.

There are a lot of reasons why service animals other than dogs are worse, one reason is the health issues. If you have an exotic animal as your service animal, it might carry diseases if it is from a foreign country which could make others sick. Also, if you are allergic to the animal you’d be out of luck if it weren’t for this law. Service dogs are trained to go to the bathroom on command, though different service animals might not be able to control it.

Dogs have so many things that make them great service animals. Dogs are cleaned at the most every two weeks. It’s much easier for businesses to accommodate a service dog than any other service animal. Dogs have a reputation of being loyal and reacting quickly to commands.

On the other hand other service animals have numerous flaws. One being that some animals quickly could become angry and attack a stranger if they feel the slightest bit threatened. Service animals besides dogs can hurt businesses because if someone brought a snake as a service animal it would draw people away from the establishment. The law doesn’t ban other service animals from being a service animal. You can still use a service animal other than a dog in private.

Hopefully now you see that this is a good law, because when you take a close look it seems obvious to me that allowing only service dogs in public places is best for everybody.
